Adopt-A-Cat: Update

Mouse

My wife has had serious separation issues when it came to giving away Mouse. So today I finally agreed we’ll keep him, oh boy.

Yet Gabriella (Gabby) is still up for adoption as we can’t really keep 2 cats in our tiny place.

Everyone keeps asking why, why, why?! Well, we live in a very small apartment.

Mouse is very laid back & quiet, while Gabby could easily play with her favorite toy all over a football stadium for hours. She has been stressing the old boy out and a stressed cat can lead to catastrophic results. Since he’s the man of the house, he bites her at every oppportunity, doesn’t mind being cooped up in his room when guests come over. But Gabby is the total opposite, once we close that door on her, she’ll sit there and meow endlessly: her record meows is for a staggering 4.5 hours! So my advice let her have free rein in the house, she HATES being locked up. She loves to sit by the window for hours and watch the world go by though. Also if you’re sitting cross-legged, she absolutely loves to curl up in your lap and could sleep there for hours or simply sit there staring at the tv! :)

We both like Gabby, but we just can’t handle all that action. We’re a quiet couple with a quiet fuzzball of a cat who thinks he’s a mouse. Hell, he doesn’t even know HOW to meow!

So Gabby is up for adoption, she’s been well-trained in the use of litterbox, scratching post and all. Just make sure to take her along with her favorite toys or she’ll wander around aimlessly until she finds them!

6 months old, spayed and her vaccination card has been updated recently. We take her for regular checkups at IVH, so you can imagine how pampered she is! :)

Going to miss that little bastard if I could find him a good home.
